SAN DIEGO September 15, 2003 Adaptium, Incorporated, a La Jolla, California based software, design, and technology consulting firm, today announced an on line promotional agreement with Sir Charles Blues Lab, a Los Angeles, CA non-profit organization collaborating with schools and community centers across the nation to provide young people the opportunity to learn and master the Blues as an enriching after school activity. Adaptium is launching online promotions, providing IT support, and creative digital design for the first ever Blues Lab nationwide song contest. For non-profits like Blues Lab with a demanding online presence, online security, reliable technology support, and robust creative online marketing management tools are a must for online promotions and obtaining the accurate information from all contest entries.

"Adaptium offers key support to our organization as they provide reliable technology platforms which enable accurate information gathering and custom software for strategic marketing for our organization's nationwide client and/or student base. With more young people discovering the love of music, Sir Charles Blues Lab wants to be at the forefront, offering endless opportunities to discover and evolve their musical skills and talents. Therefore, we need reliable online and custom digital promotions to communicate effectively with students nationwide and Adaptium has been a key player in launching and communicating our exciting online contest," says Dane Gillabrand, Director of Sir Charles Blues Lab.

"Reliable, dynamic and secure online promotions are a key factor to help increase awareness, exposure, and productivity for the young musical interest here in the US. Adaptium's software and architecture experience reduces Sir Charles's Blues Lab maintenance and administrative costs as well, a cost most non-profits cannot afford." says David Maliachi, President of Adaptium. "We chose Adaptium based on the need for an experienced background in custom and creative online marketing that took into account the new emerging generations of young music interests and talents, combined with a new, ever growing spectrum of digital and electronic media choices supplied by the digital marketplace," says Gillabrand.

The primary focus of Sir Charles Blues Lab's is to enrich the lives, minds and spirits of young people by providing them with instruments, instruction and cultural experiences in the tradition of the Blues. The organization strives to help revive the appreciation of the Blues, and create musical safe havens where children of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels can participate in creative music making.

Not only does the Blues Lab offer children ways to become disciplined, collaborative, team-oriented young people, but self-reliant, intuitive and expressive individuals. By offering this song context to all students of the US, is a tremendous opportunity for young people to engage first hand in a creative and healthy competitive environment.

Sir Charles Blues Lab (www.blueslab.org), headquartered in Los Angeles, Calif., primary objectives are achieved by donating musical instruments to schools and having a qualified 'Blues instructor' oversee after-school sessions in which the students collaboratively develop a repertoire and curriculum of music with the goal of performing a concert at the end of each semester. But The Blues Lab advances beyond the classroom instructional methods of its inception, taking many new forms. After School workshops are opened up to the greater LA community allows students, adults and even musicians to learn the Blues. The organization even operates a mobile Pro Tools recording studio, which is run by Blues Lab Graduates where program participants have the opportunity to learn how to record music, master and burn CDs of their jams.
